Mental Wellbeing First Aid – 2 day

On this 2 day workshop-style course, packed with case studies based on real life and using our practical A.C.T.I.O.N.S.© plan, individuals will learn skills to help others proactively (including mental health crises) as well as themselves.

We take an in-depth look at common mental health illnesses such as depression and anxiety, challenge stigma and learn about stress, alarm bells, coping methods, recovery, self-care and so much more!

With a strong focus on how to get help beyond the medical model, Mental Wellbeing First Aid creates hope and positive action.

This course qualifies you as a ‘Mental Wellbeing First Aider’ in the workplace. Delegates will receive a handy resource pack including a combined workbook & manual, A.C.T.I.O.N.S.© card, and e-certificate.

This course is available online and face-to-face 

This course is suitable for all adults and can be applied both in and out of the workplace.

You do not need any previous knowledge of mental health topics, however, if you have completed equivalent two day courses, this will complement and build upon your existing knowledge.

Mental Wellbeing First Aid Requalification – 1 day 

Our 1-day Mental Wellbeing First Aid Requalification course is designed for those who already hold a Mental Wellbeing First Aid (2-day) certificate and need to refresh their skills and knowledge. As recommended every three years, this course ensures you stay up to date with the latest best practices, so you can continue to provide effective support when it’s needed most.

At the heart of our training is our belief that no one should feel anything less than confident to help someone in need. We see mental health as equally important as physical health, which is why we provide expert training in both – empowering you to make a real difference in any situation.

During the course we will concentrate on refreshing your existing first aider knowledge so you feel confident in your role. We’ll look again at the practical action plan ‘A.C.T.I.O.N.S’ to be able to appropriately offer someone help both in an emergency and as a longer-term solution.

This course re-qualifies you as a ‘Mental Wellbeing First Aider’ in the workplace. Delegates will receive a handy resource pack including a combined workbook and manual, ‘A.C.T’ card, and e-certificate.

Those who have previously completed the 2-day Mental Wellbeing First Aid course and want to keep their skills and knowledge up to date. Ensuring they remain confident in providing support and looking after their own wellbeing, both in and out of the workplace.

On this 1 day workshop-style course, individuals will gain an insightful understanding of mental health and wellbeing. Packed with practical advice, you will be able to spot signs of declining mental health, and by using our practical action plan A.C.T.© – be able to appropriately offer someone help both in an emergency and as a longer-term solution.

We look at common mental health illnesses such as depression and anxiety, challenge stigma and learn about stress, alarm bells, coping methods, recovery, self-care and so much more!

This course qualifies you as a ‘Mental Wellbeing Supporter’ in the workplace. Delegates will receive a handy resource pack including a combined workbook & manual, A.C.T.© card, and e-certificate.

This course is currently only available for group bookings at a workplace or online.

This awareness course covers the foundations of Mental Wellbeing First Aid. Teaching individuals how to spot the early signs of a mental health issue along with how to offer and provide initial help.

We encourage open and honest conversations around stigma, stress, and pressure and we use our practical action plan A.C.T.© to appropriately help someone both in an emergency and as a longer-term solution.

This course qualifies you as ‘Mental Wellbeing Aware’. Delegates will receive a handy resource pack including a combined workbook & manual, A.C.T.© card, and e-certificate.

This course is suitable for all adults and can be applied both in and out of the workplace.

You do not need any previous knowledge of mental health topics, however, if you have completed equivalent courses, this course will complement and build upon your existing knowledge.

Mental Wellbeing First Aid Essentials – 2.5 hours

This short introductory course teaches individuals essential knowledge on how to spot the early signs of a mental health issue along with how to offer and provide initial help. Using our practical action plan A.C.T.©, delegates will learn about what mental health is with an overview of stress, stigma, and coping methods.

The Mental Wellbeing First Aid Essentials course is for anyone who would like a better understanding of mental health and how to provide initial help.

Delegates will receive digital resources and an e-certificate.

This course is suitable for all adults and can be applied both in and out of the workplace.

You do not need any previous knowledge of mental health topics, however, if you have completed an equivalent course, this will complement and build upon your existing knowledge.
